I'm John Hancock, a 30-year-old Cincinnati native running for Congress in Ohio’s First as a Libertarian. I’m an Engineering Technician and part-time engineering student, just a regular guy with ink on my skin and a passion for fitness, music, and travel. I volunteer at places like BLOC Ministries, helping folks in need. My name means liberty, and I’m here to cut government waste and fight overreach. “Liberty runs in my family”—vote for me to bring power back to everyday people like us.

As a libertarian, I believe you have a right to know what your government is doing with your money and in your name. I’ll push for open records, accountable leadership, and an end to the shadows that hide the truth. That’s how we rebuild trust and keep liberty alive.

Self Defense
The Libertarian Party is the party that wants ALL existing and future gun regulations made illegal because they are unconstitutional to begin with. I will commit my time in Congress to vote no on any form of gun laws.
Immigration
The current immigration system is a bureaucratic disaster, choking out honest dreamers. As a libertarian, I’ll fight for open borders, welcoming those who work and contribute, with tight vetting to block threats. Less government, more freedom—that’s the way.
